We got nocked out of Tournament A on Thursday to a good BreakThru team consisting of xHighdistortion, sewpra, xl fatcat lx, and pooned. We finished top 32 out of 160 teams, not too bad of a result. Enzaga, Sir Bakesalot, myself, and Blah XsV start tournament D tonight. Blah is playing with us since sputter cannot play on mon/wed's.

This past weekend I went to a 4v4 lan tourney in West Chester, Ohio at GameJunkies. It was an excellent turnout with 29 teams competing. I teamed with xaodx Nick from HC+, Esag from N3 and his brother, Asag. We took 2nd place winning $50 each. First went to a vBi, and third to bmz. It was a fun tourney, and I learned a lot about GoW lan play.

It has been a really long time since the last news update but here goes.

We have just finished pool play in the MLG Online tourney A, with a record of 4-0, and a map record of 10-2. 64 out of the 160 teams advance to the playoffs. I expect our seed to be somewhere in the 20-25 range, but I don't know the exact seed yet. The GoW team consists of Sputter, Enzaga, Sir Bakesalot, and myself. We should have finished at least 11-1 but we made some major mistakes.

On January 19th, Sir Bakesalot, Esag from N3, Esag's brother, and myself went to a local Livewire GoW Lan tourney in Livonia, Michigan. We won the tourney, however only 4 teams showed up so we only won $12 profit each.

Zeffy is currently playing the WoW expansion. I am not sure what Plasma Turtle is doing, but I am assuming playing with his Wii (haha).

I don't know if everyone has been checking their e-mails, but I got in the Halo 3 beta. I want everyone to get in, so on February 1rst everyone needs to play Halo 2 on their xbox 360's for at least 3 hours. I will be on with my second tag to get that in the Halo 3 beta as well. Then on the 5th you have to be one of the first 13,333 people to register on the site. I will post the link to where you have to sign up in a few days. I hope everyone gets in so we can play together and own.

Finally, I am slowly working on my second GoW montage. I am still gathering footage for it. It should be pretty sweet, since it will be all off host and majority of it from clanmatches. Also, I plan on trying to do some actual editing instead of just putting clip after clip. Don't expect it to be done until the end february.

I have finished my first Gears of War Montage and it is available for download in the downloads section. The montage is titled, "Just Plain Talented". I think it is pretty good, and am satisfied at how it turned out. So check it out. Since I have finished the montage, it means I will be online again so we can practice as a team.

Well I spent a few hours updating the site this weekend to get it current. I fixed errors on some of the old roster pages as well as completed the pdz records and roster pages, so check them out.

I also finally got up Plasma Turtle's SSBM Montage, that he had made a while ago in the downloads section.

Finally we have decided that Gears of War will be our next game to play. We will be playing this competitively and looking to own as usual. So, if you haven't reserved your copy of GoW, do it soon. You will be able to pick it up in stores some time between 11/7 and 11/12. Hopefully MLG will pick the game up so we can compete in their tournaments or online leagues. I believe cal is picking it up, so we will also play there.   I have heard rumors of othe MLG-like companies starting and may run GoW tournaments, so I will be looking into those. That's all for now.

I have posted our new primary build for GvG. Our old one will be a secondary build, that will still be used when needed. I will be posting another secondary build, which will be a degen build when I am finished working on it. The new build will allow us some tactical flexibility with splits that our old one did not. Check it out and get the skills for the classes, and practice the ones you can. Make sure you know which groups split into which so we can call it out without much trouble.
